Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2nd Annual Meeting for the Japanese Society for Immunodeficiency and Autoinflammatory Diseases (JSIAD) held at Tokyo Garden Terrace, Kioi Conference, Tokyo on February 2nd and 3rd, 2019.

JSIAD has launched in 2017, and had the 1st Annual Meeting successfully in January 2018. At this 2nd meeting, we will exchange our knowledge on Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI) among doctors, nurses, scientists, care providers, and others concerned with IEI. Our mission is to identify pathogenesis of IEI (primary immunodeficiency and autoinflammatory diseases), improve quality of life of the patients, and to develop a better therapeutic measure. JSIAD is committed to lead the field of IEI, collaborate with those working in different clinical immunology fields and to promote a nation-wide discussion for the better understanding and better patient care for IEI. We are sure to acquire the latest advances in the field of IEI and to broaden our network at the 2nd JSIAD meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you all at new conference center at Akasaka for a stimulating meeting!

With kindest regards,

Tomohiro Morio
